This Weems & Plath version of a paper weight can serve many purposes, making it the perfect addition to any navigator’s station or desk. The weight is brushed and lacquered brass; it will not tarnish or show fingerprints. It can also be custom engraved to become a great keepsake. In addition, the brass encircles a working, liquid filled compass. Any navigator is sure to appreciate having an extra north reference when using the Chart Weight to hold down their paper charts while navigating. The bottom of the weight is felt lined to protect the surface it rests on and to prevent slipping.
