Oseberg Viking Model Ship Kit by Amati

Amati's model is based on the famous 9th century Viking ship discovered at Oseberg, Norway in 1904. Plank-on-bulkhead construction features laser cut wood keel, frames and deck. Individual wood strips are provided for hull and deck planking. Wooden mast and yard, sailcloth, cotton rigging line, resin and hardwood fittings, plus authentic dragon figurehead allow you to outfit your model just like the original vessel. Clear plans and detailed instructions. (Display base and pedestals not included.)

Please note: The manufacturer of this wood kit is based in Italy. Although complete plans and instructions are included, the limited English instructions provided require critical thinking and some modification as needed. This is not a build by numbers kit, and is not for everyone. Additional technique books, and or access to the advice of an experienced wood modeler or wood model club is recommended.
