Product Description
Sturdy, rugged oars, their design going back over eons. Used on lifeboats, tenders, Grand Banks dories, fishing dinghies and Royal Barges. Nearly always used by a boatman with two strong arms and a supple back, because rowing goes backwards in a sense. The rower looks towards the back of the boat, still does, and has been doing this for thousands of years.
Made of solid hardwood with a distressed French finish.
