The construction of the magnificent ocean liners and luxury trains, such as the Orient Express,
created a thriving industry in brass lamps and fixtures around Birmingham, England. The
British manufacturer who supplied the brass lamps to the Orient Express First Class wagons
also won the contract to outfit the S.S. Titanic. Our reproduction, made in the style of the
original, carries a brass-engraved plaque featuring a magnificent four funneled Transatlantic
Steamer. (Solid brass, lacquered. Height 20")
