A reproduction of a circa 1900 Chelsea timepiece, standing over 23 inches high and weighing 23 pounds, the Special Grand epitomizes the art of fine clock making. The clock's raised numerals and filigree centerpiece are gold plated brass. The clock is numbered and registered and comes packaged in a custom designed presentation gift box. Hinged bezel, forged solid brass case. Hand-crafted Ship's Bell mechanism, consisting of 364 steel and gold plated parts with an 11 jewel movement. Strikes the traditional ship's bell code - one bell for each half hour on a four hour watch. Made in Chelsea, MA. Five year warranty. Traditional base in solid mahogany. Optional engraving and matching barometer available.
