HALF HULLS

The art of making half hull boat models is as old as ship building itself. Wood half hulls were crafted by ship builders to give three-dimensional shape to their hull designs. Our half hulls are carefully constructed upon the traditional way of boat building with mahogany strips planked on bulkhead. The brass nameplate remind of the year of launch and the name of the boat. There are spacers between the hull and wood backboard which gives more depth to the model. These collectible nautical works of art hang on the wall and take up little space. Makes a great Nautical gift.
