Based on Kyosho's best selling Seawind racing sailboat, Kyosho has raised the bar with this new carbon fiber hulled Seawind. Manufactured from carbon fiber and aluminium with tear-resistant main and jib sails, the Seawind carbon edition builds into a little work of art. The one-piece carbon hull is designed for minimum weight and drag as it cuts through the water. With a model as big as this, transportation could have been a problem. However, Kyosho have designed the Seawind so that the mast, rudder, keel and keel weight can all be easily removed for travelling. The keel weight is covered by a rubber boot for improved appearance and safety to water life. A boat stand is supplied with the kit so that the Seawind can be displayed when not in use as well as offering a stable support during building or when at the boating lake. The Readyset is packaged with a 2.4GHz RC system that automatically manages frequency band selection and combines with the waterproof metal-geared KS501SW sail servo for high strength and durability and the precision and power of the waterproof KS202W rudder servo. Core strength is delivered through the one-piece carbon hull and deck shell structure. The lower section of the hull is finished in clear gel coating that accentuates the stunning quality and finish of the carbon material. The hatch on the deck is also finished in blue gel coating. Striking color coordination of top and bottom sections produce a work of marine art that is a pleasure to behold.
