Carried by American lawmen and outlaws, the Colt .45 caliber "Peacemaker" is one of the most famous
handguns in history. This non-firing replica weapon is based on an 1886 model and features a blued
engraved
barrel, side-swinging cylinder, real hardwood grips and detailed brass accents.
11.5" Long. Weight: 2 lbs.
The Colt Single-Action Army Revolver was produced in several forms and many calibers from 1872 to 1940, with production totalling about 350,000 pieces. As its introduction coincided with the settlement of the "Wild" West, the names "Peacemaker" and "Frontier Six-Shooter" were popularized. Although most were produced for the military, some civilian versions were beautifully engraved at the Colt factory. This non-firing version replicates a gold-inlaid piece and has a functional lock mechanism, with a revolving cylinder and working ejector system.
These replicas are intended for collection, display,
and decoration only. Although the lock-actions on
the replica firearms are mechanically functional,
these items are completely safe and non-fireable.
