Built in the Colonies in 1775, the two-mastered schooner Independence fought for freedom during the American Revolution. Kit by Artesania Latina features pre-cut wooden parts and double planked hull. A rich fittings package includes boxwood blocks and deadeyes, brass rings, belaying pins and rudder hinges, cast metal anchors, cleats, lanterns and stern ornamentation. Four diameters of rigging, cotton sailcloth, three double sided plans and photo-illustrated assembly instructions complete the kit. You'll arm you model with six miniature brass cannon and eight carronades.
