The Santissima Madre is a Spanish vessel of 1692 and it represents a typical ship of the
17th century. The ship was heavily armed with three batteries of canons. There is no real history
for the ship, but only a legend. In fact this ship has been reconstructed from documents, in
pictures and monographs found in the museum of Paris and of Barcelona.
