The 30-gun French frigate Sirene was designed by the famed naval architect Fredrik Chapman.
Corel’s kit is based on plans in Chapman’s “Architectura Navalis Mercatoria” published in 1768. Pre-cut wooden parts facilitate plank-on-bulkhead construction. Ready-to-use fittings consist of correctly scaled hardwood, brass and cast metal parts, with special emphasis on the gilded metal prow and transom decorations.
